National Bird Conservation Strategy - Assistant for Colombia

Diana Lorena Jurado Roman, based in Colombia, has extensive knowledge in managing public and private projects, focused on tourism, emphasizing bird watching, public relations management, and strategic direction with commercial and tourism guilds.

Jurado played a critical administrative and coordination role in executing the Central Andes Birding Trail developed by Audubon with funding from the Colombian Government – FONTUR.  As the Executive Director of COTELCO Caldas, she played a critical role in bringing the South American Bird Fair to Colombia in 2018. 

Lorena joined Audubon Americas in 2021 to support the development of Colombia's National Bird Conservation Strategy in partnership with Von Humbolt Scientific Research Institute and the network of bird watching groups RNOA.
